Interpreting Equipment

For simultaneous interpreting you need special interpreting equipment. This encompasses a mobile interpreter’s booth that insulates the interpreters from the noise of the conference – and conference participants from the noise generated by the interpreters.

The speakers’ contributions are transmitted to the interpreters via microphone on one channel and back to participants to a receiver on a second channel.
